Based on EthioChicken’s success, Flow Equity acquired the Rubirizi National Hatchery in Rwanda in 2017 and formed Uzima Chicken as its poultry platform for East Africa. Over the next five years, Uzima aims to be the leading smallholder-focused poultry enterprise in Rwanda and Uganda.
Uzima is seeking Regional Sales Managers to establish and lead regional sales and field support teams in the North, Central, and Eastern Regions of Uganda. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Country Manager in Uganda and must ensure consistent sales growth by recruiting, training, and managing a team of Area Sales Managers. Area Sales Managers are veterinary professionals working at District-level with the key role of sales, technical support, and local stakeholder management.

Passion for serving smallholder farmers and customers
Strong managerial and leadership capabilities
Track record of success in an African context, entrepreneurial
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrates understanding of principles of sales and marketing
Hands-on leader who knows how and when to delegate
Thrives in a culture of discipline, accountability and commitment to excellence
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent BA/MA in livestock, agriculture, or agribusiness
