Job Summary
The Sales Manager will implement company strategies so as to maximise revenue, acquisition, mobile money growth, mobile money agent growth, agent supervision and distribution performance in Kampala and other key strategic districts.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales programs to achieve revenue, acquisition and distribution objectives
  • Implement distribution strategy to ensure continuous availability of Swifin products in Kampala
  • Increase agency points by recruiting new agents
  • Ensure adequate merchandising and visibility to maximise brand visibility in area
  • Supervise and motivate agents to achieve set performance targets in assigned areas
  • Regularly carry out training of agents on Swifin products and services
  • Implement consumer promotions in line with overall company objectives
  • Prepare accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports

Leadership Tasks

  • Significant experience in user-led design processes and user acceptance and compliance testing
  • Understanding of deploying technology solutions in contexts of limited connectivity, infrastructure and digital literacy
  • Experience in and preference for agile approaches to product development and project management
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferable), 5+ years experience, English fluency required and French desirable

Key Qualifications, Skills, and Expertise

  • Ideal candidate should hold Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in dealer/distributor sales management and distribution environment
  • Previous experience in managing teams
  • Good computer skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Highly developed selling skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Good coordination techniques
  • Good team player
  • Positive, outward looking disposition
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Well-developed attention to detail
